Ice Skating - Olympiaworld Innsbruck

On the move with sharp runners

If you love winter sports in all its facets, the Olympiaworld Innsbruck is just the right place for you. Here, you can glide over the ice in an unforgettable atmosphere. The public skating rink offers an impressive view of the mountains around Innsbruck.

Attention: During events such as ice hockey games or figure skating competitions, public ice skating might not be possible!

The TIWAG Arena is the place where transparency and high-tech meet. The architecturally outstanding glass ice palace provides a clear view of the striking panorama of Innsbruck’s Nordkette Range. The public ice skating in the Tiroler Wasserkraft Arena therefore is characterised great views and pure skating pleasure.

Outdoor ice rink

Austria's only open-air speed skating rink is also available for public skating. With a track length of 400 metres and a width of 12 metres, the outdoor ice rink at the Olympic Hall offers sensational views of the winter mountain world and the best ice quality at the same time.

Historical sports facility

The Olympic Ice Stadium has already hosted the Olympic Winter Games twice. In 1964 three figure skating competitions took place here, four in 1976. Ice dancing became an Olympic discipline that same year. At both Olympic Winter Games, the ice hockey competitions also took place here. Whoever skates here follows in the footsteps of Olympic athletes.

Let yourself be guided on the ice
